Jaakko Kaivonen leads the global commercial strategy at d&b audiotechnik, with a strong focus on revenue growth, customer service and market expansion.

Having held senior management functions in global B2B organizations such as ASSA ABLOY Group and KONE Corporation, Jaakko brings a strong international perspective to his work. His extensive experience in leading global sales structures and managing large, fast-growing business units, are instrumental in driving d&b audiotechnik‘s growth.

Nicola Wagener is an experienced executive with strong business expertise and a focus on transformation and strategy. In her dual role, she plays a fundamental part in orchestrating d&b for its next phase of growth, placing people and sustainability at the heart of shaping a future-ready and responsible business. 

For more than 20 years, she has worked at the intersection of business, strategy, and people — first as a consultant at McKinsey & Company, then driving corporate strategy at thyssenkrupp, and later leadership advisor at ghSMART. Across these roles, she has consistently helped organisations turn strategy into action and guided teams through complex change.

James Gallagher-Powell plays a pivotal role in defining the long-term strategic direction of the d&b group, driving and overseeing M&A initiatives to support growth and innovation, while steering the company towards new opportunities and solidifying its market leading position.

Prior to joining d&b, James held senior strategic and financial leadership roles at globally recognized organizations including PwC and CSM Sports & Entertainment/Wasserman Group. His deep expertise in strategic planning, finance, and operational excellence is instrumental in expanding the offerings of the d&b group and elevating the customer experience.

Tom is responsible for the d&b solutions business, focused on strategy as d&b develops this new business unit. He has a particular focus on the development of the UK business, providing complete AVLM services through d&b solutions’ multiple brands.

He officially joined d&b in 2021 but worked alongside the company since the late 1990s as a sound engineer and providing production management services. Prior to joining d&b, he spent more than 20 years in senior roles at SFL Group, the last 10 years as Managing Director, responsible for vision, strategy and M&A.
